I remember the first time I saw Kurt Cobain in his leopard print coat on the cover of Observer's Sunday Magazine. To Kurt who reportedly couldn't stand up straight on the day (and was famously self styled), it was all so un-considered, all so un-pretentious, all a bit of a mess; and to me, that made it all so incredibly cool...

Leopard print's strength comes from its ability to be as glamorous as it is wild, to be as suited to men as it is to women, it's a print with incredible versatility but not for lack of life or substance. Its been around forever, and I think its safe to say it isn't going anywhere anytime soon...I mean really...it looks good on everyone from Mrs. Robinson, to Sid Vicious, what more could you want?
